Belajar Bahasa Inggris Contoh teks recount 2019: The trapped cat
Lama penulis tidak posting teks genre. Baik pada kesempata kali ini penulis akan berbagi contoh recount text. Teks ini merupakan pengalaman nyata penulis ketika penulis pulang ke rumah sehabis mengajar di sekolah. Ada seekor anak kucing yang terperangkap di net/jaring di sekitar rumah penulis.
Penulis berinisiatif untuk mengabadikan pengalaman (personal experience) ini ke dalam bentuk tulisan yang berguna untuk pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang dapat dipakai khalayak ramai. Di dalam teks recount ini penulis menggunakan tenses: simple past, past contiunuous dan past perfectuntuk menyatakan action atau kejadian lampau.

Contoh Teks Recount.
It was Saturday afternoon at about half past one. I went home from school. I finished teaching. I heard a cat’s voice when I was walking towards to house door. The voice was getting louder as I got close the door. I was surprised to see a poor little cat was trapped on the net. He was trying to escape from it but he failed.
I was so tired at that time so I decided to let him there. I opened the door and entered the room. I took a rest, prayed and had lunch for about half an hour.
I remembered that the poor cat was still there. I still heard his shout. I directly went towards the cat. He was still there. He could not escape. He looked very weak. It seemed that he had given up. Oh poor cat, what a pity of you!
I then came to save the little cat. I brought a scissor. I cut the net tied on his body and leg very carefully. I thought he could not escapte from the trap. The net tied almost of his body. I did not want to hurt him. I finally succeded to set the cat free from the trap. He looked happy because he could go around and play with other cats.
